Data Requests

This page explains how members of Entertainment Industry Social can access, export, and delete their social and account data. The Site is operated by Illuminet, LLC. For our full practices, see the Privacy Policy.

What you can request

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

  • Access or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Correct inaccurate profile information (often you can edit this yourself)
  • Delete your account or specific personal data

Data may include profile fields, activity posts, messages, uploaded media metadata, and related account records, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Self-service export (BuddyPress)

Where available on the Site, you can start an export from your account:

  • Log in to Entertainment Industry Social
  • Open your profile or account menu
  • Go to Settings → Export Data (wording may vary slightly by BuddyPress version)
  • Follow the on-screen steps; you may receive an email when your export file is ready

Exports typically include data BuddyPress and the Site associate with your account. Some server logs or backup copies may not appear in a self-service file.

Delete or close your account

You may be able to delete content or adjust visibility in your profile and activity settings. To request full account deletion:

  • Use any in-account delete option if shown, or
  • Submit a request via the Contact page, or
  • Email myilluminet@gmail.com from the email address on your account

We may verify your identity before deleting data. After deletion, residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time, as noted in our Privacy Policy.

How to submit a request to us

If self-service tools are unavailable or you need help:

Please include:

  • Your username and account email
  • Whether you want access, export, correction, or deletion
  • Any details that help us locate your data

We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (for example, CCPA/CPRA or GDPR-style rules where they apply).
